About This Artwork
This artwork is a visual tapestry of Hindu philosophy. It incorporates the Brahman (Brahma, Vishnu, Shiva), the ten primary incarnations (Dashavatara) of Vishnu with the deities Lord Jagannatha, Balabhadra, and Subhadra, and the influence of the Navagraha. All these avatars, grahas, and yuga names are intricately included. The central image of Vishnu and Lakshmi symbolises the eternal harmony of Creation and the Creator, and the eternal epics (main scriptures) of Hinduism - the Ramayana and Mahabharata are also part of it.
